about

This is a 15 minute track of flute and ocean sounds to calm your nerves and open your heart.

The deeper story behind this flute song is the story of when Krsna left Vrindavan and went to Dwarka for his royal duties. There are descriptions about the pangs of separation that were both experienced between the residents of Vrindavan and Krsna during this period of separation. However, In Dwarka Krsna was different. He didn't play the flute anymore, nor did he wear the peacock feather in his hair. The day's of being an innocent cowherd boy of the villages of Vrindavan were long gone.
He was a king now.
At a certain point, His brother Balarama went to visit Vrindavan alone since Krsna wasn't able to join him. In that visit a mystical thing happened; Krsna was able to see his Gopis and speak to them through the mind of Balarama. That was all arranged by the compassion and power of Sri Balarama’s heart and mind. After that experience, Krsna was left in awe and wondered if that really happened or if he was simply day dreaming. This beautiful piece of art attempts to take a snapshot of the moment soon after that transcendental experience.
The mood is,”What did Krsna feel after that experience?”
So, while playing flute I imagined...
He takes a walk along the shores of Dwarka and finds a peacock feather on the ground which swells emotional memories into his heart as he is reminded of when he use to wear the peacock feather and spend his days in the company of his close friends and family. Attached to his hip was always his flute, but this time his belt was empty and all he could do was sit by a tree while looking deeply into the ocean reminiscing and realizing how far he is from his loved ones. Although he couldn't express his love through his flute, his heart played those melodies in 'Waves of Separation’.
